The Rochester Makerspace is looking for instructors to teach a couple of classes once a month.

One class would be about how to use our new laser cutter and the other would teach students how to use Inkscape (or similar software) so they can design something to be cut or engraved by it.

Both would be small 2 or 3 hour beginner-level classes that would held on a weeknight or Saturday of your choosing.

Laser cutting experience is desirable but not necessary because the cutter is not difficult to learn how to use. Teaching experience would be very helpful.

Please contact us at if you are interested.

Lead Ruby Developer.

I have a well paid contract position for a Ruby developer. This is probably the first position I have actually worked like this in Rochester. If you consider yourself to be "highly skilled" with RoR, and consider yourself a technical leader, this could be the right job. I will be getting more details from my client soon.

P.S. Please feel free to pass this message around to your friends...

Unfortunately I do not know.  I once tracked the source of all candidates... but it lost priority over time (which it should not have because for a recruiter to know what sources are effective is important...).

I can tell you that I do get occasional candidates from posting here, and typically they are very high quality.
